Natural Valley Cheese

Our artisan cheeses are made from pasture-grazed cows and goats on Amish farms. The farms are all natural in the beautiful Driftless area of Wisconsin.

Most of the milk comes from hand-milked dairy cows and goats and arrives at our small cheesemaking plant in cold water-cooled milk cans.

Our cheesemaker -- Tom Torkelson -- learned the craft from family. His father was a dairy farmer and two cousins are cheesemakers. He is a certified Wisconsin Cheesemaker, and he is passionate, dedicated and creative about his cheeses.
